And here's the other side of the house. The back yard slopes gently down into
a little depression (some other views might make that more clear), and as you
can see, it is well shaded. The deck door (both from this old one and the new
one) opens on the dining room. The big triple window to its left goes to the
living oom. And to its left are an upstairs bathroom and the master bedroom
respectively.
The sliding doors in the middle of the lower level open on the stairway up and a downstairs junction. To the right is the family room, to the left is the guest bedroom, and straight back are four diverse storage areas -- a room used by previous owners as a darkroom, an unfinished area that contains the furnace, a laundry area (currently also holding some exercise equipment), and the "Price Club" room, a shelved area perfect for holding those 65-packs of paper towels.
Anyway, that's the "then" picture of the back, here's the "now":

Unfortunately, we've lost a big tree (on the right), but to compensate, the
newest addition is the fence... here are a couple views:

Oh, and if you want the top view of the house and the neighborhood,
here it is. We're left of center at the "T".

Staying downstairs, we see the guest bedroom, although it's big enough to
be the master. Which we can see if we phase through the ceiling ...

... It's bigger than it looks -- that's a king-size bed in there. Both big
bedrooms have great views out back ...

... As does the living room. You may notice the hardwood floors underneath.

Shifting our view slightly, the elevated dining area enters the picture. As
mentioned earlier, that's not our stuff in there. Furthermore, that door back
there opens out onto ...

... the new and improved deck, complete with the new housepuppy. That's that
new vinyl flooring.

Whew! Finished painting the wood.

The Gory Underside

And the view from above.

Finally, here's a good chunk of the kitchen (it L's around to the right, where
you can find the refrigerator and the ovens). All new appliances, and shining
yellow counters. Off to the left, not visible in this picture is a
9' area suitable for a table and the like. Straight through the window is
the carport, beyond which, among other things, are...
Some of JJ's gardens. Step here for a partial tour.
